A large finanical institution seeks a non-production SQL SERVER DBA to provide the technical and organizational leadership in developing, maintaining, and maintaining data integrity on databases supported by infrastructure services. The resource will provide input into overall development/implementation plan and document database builds and changes for use by the Production DBA team. The resource will also perfom SQL designs, table designs, and stored procedures work to help team code applcations that utilize a MS SQL DB. The resource is also responsible for providing database support of databases within th Retail Non-Production environments. Ensure database security through enforcement of Database standards and best practices, as well as ESM scanning and remediation. Ensure vendor support through management of software patching/upgrades to maintain N-1 status. Manage the migration process of database object changes associtated with the development of Retail Applications. Provide input to database and application architecture, including hardware and software configuration. Ensure the recovery and availability of Non-Production databases through the scheduling, execution, monitoring, and troubleshooting of database backup and maintenance processes.
