Jawood is seeking a Business Reporting Analyst. The Analyst will be r esponsible for assisting in the coordination of data related to Credentialing Department business needs and activities. The primary focus of the job is to organize and generate reports, analyze and work with staff to address data discrepancies among different database system; specifically Visual Cactus and Access. The responsibilities span multiple lines of business and will include:
- Provide regular and ad hoc reports related to tracking, data analysis, data auditing and data accuracy.
- Provide reports and support for regulatory and accreditation entities.
- Assist in ensuring accuracy of data in Visual Cactus and Access database systems.
- Develop and run weekly and monthly department reports including but not limited to status reports for turnaround, inventory, productivity, affiliation, disaffiliation, due date reports and other ad hoc reports as required. Other projects or duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities (eg Computer, Software, Communication) - Strong analytical and database skills
- Excellent organization skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - Experience with creating Pivot tables in Excel and creating advanced formulas
- Experience working with mainframes
- Work experience with Access and other reporting tools such as Crystal and SQL
- Work experience with Visual Cactus reporting required
- Self motivation and independence to address complex and variable problems
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with internal and external customers and all levels of the organization required

- Two (2) years experience in health care industry preferred, in the area of credentialing/prov ider contracting or database systems
- Minimum of three (3) years experience working with analysis of data
- Minimum of three (3) years experience working with database systems and reporting tools
