Data Architect Job in Salt Lake City Utah (UT)

Kforce is seeking a Data Architect for a client in SLC, Utah. This is a permanent position.

Job Duties:

• Design, implement, and optimize database(s)
• Write stored procedures to support database activities
• Manage the release process for database environments
• Support data manipulation, generation, and clean-up requirements
• Manage the evolution of database environments throughout the software development cycle

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in software development
• 10+ years of experience as a Database Developer or Database Administrator
• 10+ years of MS SQL Server experience
• .NET experience
• Knowledge and experience with Dynamics GP a plus

• OLTP
• A good understanding of Database Architecture principles
• MS SQL programming and functional knowledge
• MS SQL Server 2005/2008 administration and development
• Expert with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services
• Expert with Data Warehouses
• Expert with Data Cubes
• Expert with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• ETL experience
• Replication Services
• Database Modeling
• Data Quality concepts
• Performance tuning
• Clustering and high availability
• Demonstrated experience with software development process and release management
