Description:
The Client has initiated a required effort to upgrade the current NCWISE hardware/infrastructure that is supporting the state-wide deployed NCWISE application. This software developer resource has been identified as needed in order for this project to be successful. The client is seeking a short term contractor to provide professional services as follows:

SQL and PL/SQL development
SQL tuning using standard Oracle tools
Development in Oracle 10g
Create and maintain Stored Procedures, Packages Functions, Procedures; Views, Materialized Views, and Triggers
Unix Shell Scripts development for batch process
Source code tool - Toad/PLSQL developer
Work and interact with a Java developers

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development with at least 5 years of experience in Oracle 10g;
Experience in creating and maintaining Stored Procedures, Packages Functions, Procedures Views, Materialized Views, and Triggers,
Expertise in SQL tuning using standard Oracle tools, Good grasp of Oracle concepts,
Experience in Unix Shell Scripts development for batch process,
Experience in Source code tool - Toad/PLSQL developer,
Experience working and interacting with a Java developers,
Strong knowledge and use of development methodologies, standards, and procedures,
Extensive public education experience, preferably working with Student data,
Ability to effectively provide technical documentation,
Ability to work independently,
Possess good organization and communication skills.
Strong Oracle DBA knowledge and experience,
Must possess traits that are critical for successful performance in this position: Reliability, initiative, attention to detail and professionalism.
