DATABASE REPORT WRITING ANALYST Job in Atlanta Georgia (GA)

ORGANIZATION

Located in Atlanta, the Georgia Institute of Technology is a Research I institution with approximately 12,000 undergraduate students and 5,000 graduate students. Georgia Tech has 6 academic colleges: College of Architecture, College of Computing, College of Engineering, College of Management, Ivan Allen College, and College of Sciences.

POSITION

Georgia Tech s Health Services is seeking a Database Report Writing Analyst Health Informatics Specialist.

A Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics or related field of study is required.

At least four years of related work experience, solid working knowledge in mathematics and quantitative methods, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Preferences include previous experience with healthcare information technology systems, Oracle and SQL Server, Scripting Languages, SQL*Plus and PL/SQL, and Crystal Reports.

This position designs, develops, tests, and implement custom and routine reports; and ensures that all reports meet the needs of requesting users and presents accurate and complete information. Report development shall take into account query scripting, maintenance, optimization, and report administration.

Selection process will include a pre-employment criminal background check and education verification.
