Business Intelligence Analyst Job in Atlanta Georgia (GA)

Outstanding Atlanta Company is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst. This position is responsible for designing and developing enterprise-wide data analysis and reporting solutions using Business Objects and Microsoft SQL tools. The employee holding this position will be expected to take part in the entire data-mining project-life cycle. This includes gathering requirements, data preparation, ETL, data warehousing, modeling, evaluation, deployment, reporting/dash boarding, and maintenance. Candidates must have solid experience creating advanced Business Objects reports as well as writing complex freehand SQL. This position requires both knowledge of business as well as data in order to interact efficiently and effectively with the business users, business analysts, and developers.

Qualifications:

Requirements

Bachelors Degree
2-3 years of Business Objects design and development of universes and reports
5 years of SQL query development
Firm understanding of Business Objects XIR2 or 3.1.
Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving abilities
Significant experience gathering requirements, analyzing data, and delivering BI solutions
Solid ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Understanding of functional areas of business as well as statistical and management science modeling techniques
Strong knowledge and adherence of development methodologies, standards, and best practice
Firm understanding of database structures and SQL performance tuning
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
