Job Duties
  • Work with IT and Business Stakeholders to understand the structure, policies and operations of the business
  • Provides business analysis, including gathering requirements, meeting with end users and writing technical and functional specifications
  • Recommend solutions for Business Stakeholders to achieve their goals.
  • Work with the Project Managers to manage the stakeholders' expectations, ensures that the solution is part of the business need
  • Writing use cases and user stories for software development projects
  • Presenting business requirements in concise, measurable and flexible manner to meet project and stakeholder needs.
  • Responsible for both high level business requirements and detailed functional specifications leveraging the designated project methodology & tools.
  • Accountable for delivering and managing time and costs for large, complex projects
  • Creates a project plan for addressing the problem, defining timelines, milestones, budget and key dependencies
  • Plans the communication for each step of the implementation phase of a project
  • Acts as an escalation point where issues need to be resolved
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the following areas as a Business Analyst with knowledge in full SDLC activities
  • Exposure to Business Process Modeling and/or Re-engineering is preferred.
  • Ability to clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options, and where appropriate, leading to resolution
  • Ability to prioritize personal and team workloads to best meet organizational objectives
  • 2-3 years of Use Case Development, Use Case Driven Requirement Methods
  • Candidates should have experience in Enterprise Application environment, accustom to working on large complex projects
  • Experience in Agile development environment, User Stories, Burndown and working with off shore resources.
  • Strong technology acumen and track record of hands-on implementations across multiple technologies.
  • Ability to translate technical data and concepts and communicate them to non-technical personnel.
  • Strong skills in both technology and business domains, creative and practical in managing the relationship between the two.
  • Strong background in implementing enterprise initiatives on a large scale.
  • Excellent communications skills - strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Tax Domain knowledge – preferred
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential in order to manage multiple phases of a project plan
  • Ability to work effectively with internal clients and external vendors
  • Good relationship building skills both within and between teams
  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change based on client needs
  • Bachelors Degree is preferred
