In this role, you’ll work closely with business and technical teams and be a major contributor to the requirements specification deliverables.  You’ll also write the business and functional requirements with a solid understanding of the business ensuring that integration between the business and technology solutions.  This role affords you the opportunity to perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, and work with project management teams to prioritize deliverables and negotiate product functionalities.  As a BA, you understand development processes – SDLC; you are highly analytical, and have problem-solving/conflict resolution skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues.

This is a contract-to hire opportunity for a highly skilled BA with a minimum of three years of BA experience.  It is anticipated that this position will be converted to FT regular employment quickly.

  • Performs feasibility analysis, scopes projects, and works with the project management team to prioritize deliverables, and negotiate on product functionalities
  • Creates detailed Business Requirement Document (BRD) and translates it into functional specifications
  • Provides analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and interpreting data
  • Partners with development and analytic teams to provide reporting on software solutions
  • Participates in Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functionality Testing
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Functional, Data or Business Analyst
  • 3+ years’ experience in Access, Excel (Advanced), Visio, and MS Project
  • 3+ years of customer interfacing experience – project oversight, customer presentations
  • 3+ years SQL Server knowledge – T-SQL, Tables, Views
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
